Shipwrights Start Next Phase of Restoration at CBMM

Learn woodworking at Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum

Photo: Beginning Thursday, Sept. 14, and continuing on select dates through December, the Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum in St. Michaels is opening its boatshop for novice and experienced woodworkers to gain advice and assistance on their small-scale woodworking projects.

The Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum is inviting experienced and novice woodworkers to its Open Boatshop program on September 14, October 11, November 15 and December 6, 2017. The program runs from 5:30-8:30 pm., with class size limited and advanced registration needed.
