Elk Neck State Forest Arboretum Trail Now Open

After a year of planning and construction, the new Arboretum Trail at Elk Neck State Forest is now open to the public. The trail consists of a half-mile walking track, picnic tables, benches, numerous interpretive signs, and 96 native trees and shrubs with educational labels.

Pomeroy and Newark Rail Trail Designated National Recreation Trail in Delaware

DNREC and DelDOT announce project to build trail connector to protect pedestrians and bicyclists in White Clay Creek State Park

Portion of Junction and Breakwater Trail re-routed

A quarter mile section of the Junction and Breakwater Trail has been closed to make way for construction of a new, planned housing development in Lewes, near Cape Henlopen State Park. The affected area is located in the northernmost trail segment between the Hawkseye community and Gills Neck Road.

Open House on Gordons Pond Trail to be held on April 3, 2013
